Matching family Eid outfits: siblings, mummy and me, father and son
How matching family eastern wear works for Eid and weddings, what to match (colour, fabric or embroidery) and how to order sibling sets that fit everyone.
Three ways to match
- Same colour, different garments: a coral frock for her and a coral waistcoat for him. The easiest to pull off and the most flattering in photos.
- Same fabric: cut from one print or embroidery, so a girls’ kameez and a boys’ kurta clearly belong together.
- Same detail: a shared embroidery motif, a matching dupatta and pocket square, or the same name embroidery.
Sibling sets
Sibling sets work best when each child gets the garment that suits their age: a frock and churidar for a three-year-old, a kameez and trousers for a nine-year-old, a soft kurta with poppers for the baby. Ask for the set together so the colours are cut from the same fabric.
Mummy and me, father and son
We make children’s pieces to match an adult outfit you already own: send a photo and, if you can, a small swatch of the fabric. A matching dupatta or waistcoat is often enough to tie the look together.
